ERASMUS POLICY STATEMENT
Istanbul Şişli Vocational School regards internationalisation as a fundamental component of its institutional development strategy. Participation in the Erasmus+ Programme contributes significantly to enhancing the quality of vocational education and training, strengthening European cooperation, and equipping students and staff with international perspectives and intercultural competencies.
As a vocational higher education institution, our primary objective is to improve the employability, professional skills, and global awareness of our students. Through student study and traineeship mobilities, we aim to provide practical and academic experiences aligned with labour market needs. Staff mobility for teaching and training purposes supports curriculum development, innovation in teaching methodologies, and the exchange of best practices with European partners.
Our institution is fully committed to the principles of transparency, equal opportunities, inclusion, and non-discrimination in all mobility processes. Academic recognition is ensured through ECTS and learning agreements in accordance with the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education. Particular attention is given to supporting students with fewer opportunities and promoting sustainable and digital practices within Erasmus activities.
